I'm 30, living in Mississauga. I've had my G license for over 10 years now. I've had my share of speeding tickets in the past, but none currently on my record. I have a minor violation for an improper turn from last year. I got my M1 2 weeks ago and never had bike insurance before.
I bought a 2011 Ninja 250R SE last week. My quote from Riders Choice was $1041 and I was going to go with them until someone told me I should check with State Farm. I have gotten auto quotes from them before and they were well over $3000/yr, so I didn't have high hopes. I called them up and got a quote for $761. I went in and got the coverage right away. They needed me to bring the bike in for an inspection and photos.
If anyone wants to know the agent I used, I'd be more than willing to share.
EDIT: By the way, that's full coverage with a $1000 deductable.
