The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Almost tempted by this as a downsize instead of waiting on an EV moped.
I recall Brian motoring about on a 125. It has the rack for a top case.
Mind you it's got more mileage than my CB500F

I commuted on a 2011 CBR125R between Mississauga and Scarborough along Cawthra, QEW, Gardiner, DVP, and Eglinton one year. It was great (and dare I say fun), up to about 60 or 80 km/h, but after that the acceleration basically disappears. I think the 13L tank will take you 500 kms if you run it dry. It's achilles heel is the highway, but if you don't plan on trying to do a constant 100 ever, then it's great.

To get up to speed to merge onto the highway from a stop, you literally need to do a quarter mile drag. And then you're basically topped out, depending on your weight, unless you are literally going downhill with the wind at your back and full tuck. On the DVP going uphill with the wind ahead of you, you can sometimes struggle to do even 90. Probably less on this unfaired version.

FWIW the CBR125R is a different bike than the CB125E. More power and gears

I remember my first bike... 2018 CBR125R. I only kept it for 4 months, but ended up doing a few thousand kms in that time, and IIRC I got it up to 120-125km/h indicated top speed.

Mind you that's laying down on it and hiding behind that tiny little fairing.

I also don't know how optimistic the speedo was.
