Great bike, but for anyone interested, the early 1200 8V models up to mid-2012 had a serious issue with flat tappets wearing prematurely and then lunching cams and eventually heads. Moto Guzzi offered a free (parts only) replacement package to convert them to rollers, but to qualify, you had to a) know there was a problem, and b) be a squeaky enough wheel to get it installed under warranty. There are plenty of low mile early 8V's out there with the old flat tappets, and they will grenade eventually. You can still buy the kits, but Guzzi no longer offers them free, and you have to pull the covers off to know for sure if the work has been done.
In other words, a 2010-12 1200 8V should be approached with a lot of caution or priced accordingly...

No surprise. It seems to be a great compact unit.
Hell I may sell mine and look for one like that instead. Much smaller footprint.
Its a single purpose. Can't really be used for other projects as there is no platform.
I have never seen this type before.
In all fairness the only thing I’ve used mine for right now is to reach the top shelf in my garage to grab something off it…
