Paging @jdmsteR
I dunno, I'd be haggling that one down
Not a bike I want but an interesting bike. A bike that is complete and starts and runs for under $3k is getting close to the bottom of the market. On an older bike, the cost to safety and potential bill to replace old rubber bits probably means it should be cheaper. What y'all think if this....
'Feeling nostalgic...'was my first bike *sniff.

From the other stuff he has sold, he's probably a cool old guy.
It looks like he got it last week so quite possible.Hey... I'm a cool old guy too...
I saw a similar cx sold for $1700.
Maybe this is the guy who bought it and is now flipping it... lol

I met a guy in the Kawarthas a few years ago. To get into his driveway, he has to sit *in* a blind corner while waiting to make a left. The day before, a woman in a Harley came along and hit the back of his car. She died. Her husband apparently crashed into her, I don’t know if he ended up passing as well.On that note, I came around a blind corner yesterday and an asshat in a miata was parked in the middle of the road admiring the scenery at the corner exit. F that guy. Not even an attempt to pull onto the shoulder. Sometimes you wish for Buckhorn Sand & Gravel to reinforce that stupid behaviour can be painful (I am not saying Adri's FIL did anything wrong, but that Miata guy deserves a beating).

I know yamaha srx as a sled (700cc triple). With all the three letter combinations, why would the use the same letters for a 600 single bike?
SRX was initially only used for a brief 3yrs in the 70's in their sled lineup. The SRX in the motorcycle lineup went for more than 10yrs ending in 97. The SRX name came back to the sled lineup the following year in 98.I know yamaha srx as a sled (700cc triple). With all the three letter combinations, why would the use the same letters for a 600 single bike?
For the same reason they used the same alfa-numeric designations on musical instruments and electronics.I know yamaha srx as a sled (700cc triple). With all the three letter combinations, why would the use the same letters for a 600 single bike?
Not as good as the older yellow ones that I had in Alberta but still a good price.
Nice bike ....didn't expect. Not sure I've ever seen a 650 ...used to seeing 500s. V 650....sweet.
