That thing seems pretty stupid.
Lotus does a lot of concept engineering for self promotion, they built a 2 stroke car engine a couple years ago to prove they could be more efficient and effective than a 4 stroke ( after they had been legislated out of existence in a lot of the world). The Brits are wacky like that.
That's Lotus cars, this is another company that just bought the Lotus name. "Lotus" is now like "Pierre Cardin", or, "Hello Kitty", the investment group that bought the company is selling the name to anyone with money to keep the place afloat. That's why F1 had two "Lotus" teams in one year.
HD had a V-rod a few years ago complete with wheelie bars. Pretty sure it was a 9.0s bike but I could be wrong.
Don't believe everything you read. And in the case of CafeRay's posts it's prudent to believe nothing at all.

I really like this.. from a design exercise standpoint.
The single fairing tank + body is not something you see on (m)any bikes today.
I highly doubt a production model will look even half of this, if Lotus ever produces one at all!

no.Yamaha R 1 182 bhp...looks nicer... and the newer one coming out next year will beat it...in looks andperformance

The V-Rod Destroyer was for dragstrip only.

I agree... it's called like a "muscle cruiser" or something odd like that.
I was thinking this bike is pretty V-Rod like, myself... especially after people lower them a bit
