I'm assuming the second is rear facing? Where/ how did you mount it? Was thinking of a second for the Pilot, but not sure where to put it.

yes. the second is the rear camera. i mounted it just like the front and had to work out the angle a bit because of the sloped window. i only had one possible place to mount it because the rear defroster element won't allow the suction cup to stick. there' s a small section on my window without any elements.

Driving a set of Super-B trains I'd like to think that whoever is behind the wheel has at least some freakin' experience, but in todays realities, who knows. I drove for about 3 years before my company would train me on doubles...now, given what I've seen in the last 6 or 8 years, who knows.
Sleepy driver, or inattentive/distracted driver, something was awry for sure. I've experienced the sleepy part, any commercial driver who has a real job in the industry has, but I know when it's time to pull over and put your head down for a powernap. Some guys always need to push on...usually the guys who pay structures suck.

Are the rumble strip really audible from the cockpit of your trucks out of curiosity?
Is there a particularly bad point? I watched some of the video and then skipped through. I didn't see anything atrocious. It's possible that he was giving space where there was room. Those things are big and square. It's also possible that he was yakking on the phone. There was no point where he swerved into a lane full of traffic, was there? Every time I drive to Toronto, I see a truck do that; they don't seem to want to wait for a safe spot to pull out and pass.
Oh yeah, probably more than the average car, actually.

Within the first 10 seconds the guy was seconds from hitting the merge divider signs or whatever they're called...
At :57 is when I decided I was going to call the police.
And I encourage you to watch the full video and keep your eyes on the truck the whole time.

0:35 he's on the line/rumble strip for a long time and impeding the onramp when he finally gets back over.
0:50 thru 1:10 he's virtually on the line and then wanders into the onramp lane.
1:57 thru 2:10 he's on the line / rumble strip again.
2:15, lane change, doesn't cancel his signal and seems oblivious. The signal ticker (or often lack thereof) in Freightliners suck, but it's still a sign of inattentiveness.
4:10 thru 4:30 he's not maintaining his lane, the trailer duals are on the lines or over.
I turned the volume up this time. Service Express, quebec company. My earlier question was justified. I would be equally as unsurprised if it was a company out of Brampton. 'Nuff said.
