As some of you know I was abroad in Afghanistan some time ago. At the time I was in dire need of support on behalf of some of the local children and animals for any aid people were willing to send me. I posted photos as stuff poured in to see how your efforts paid off.
Since I got back I have been in constant contact with those still over there continuing the extra curricular tasks I took upon myself to try and help the people and animals. Today I got a phone call from Ottawa that just about brought my heart to a stop. After a year of effort my tour puppy Thys has safely made it to Canada and is in the loving home with 3 kids and the Master Corporal who continued to treat him.
Not only does Thys have a happy ending but I was told LZ, Bozo, and DZ were also on flights this week to their new homes with soldiers in the USA.
FIFA the cat is also in Ottawa with a Sgt.
All of these animals were treated with the donations and supplies YOU sent me and the guys. Without you they would not have made it.
