Got insurance?

Then you're good. Sticker date is completely irrelevant now. Of course I wanted to buy a new one officer, but hey, couldn't.

You won't get pulled over for it right now anyways.

new MSRP is $7200...that is nuts
trying to get fees and taxes back

what's it worth? warranty and financing gone
used Japanese entry level cruiser
5K ?

Yeah, but the owner still owes way more than that after all the farkles and that useless extended warranty they bought...and the original freight charges...and the PDI they paid when they rolled it out of the showroom. And the oil changes. And the winterization(s).

Therefore, it's worth that much to them in their mind. Gotta recoup it all.

The aluminum framed one was JDM and significantly detuned.

Nice bike, but for that kind of dough it would have to be mint, mint, mint not tarted up like that.

I'm not sure it's stupidly overpriced. Probably overpriced and it will be a hard sell. 14 yo gixxer with 42,000 km dropped on both sides $3000.

Ad says 2002 SV650S for $5000. Bikes a 2003 plus. Only $5000
Well he did already cut off the muffler and weld on a "slip on" 2 inch pipe. Sounds like a Harley now. Because most full fairing riders want that sound and shops would charge quite a bit for that "upgrade".

This might be better posted in the reasonably priced thread just for that...

^ what a waste of a decent bike
still had tons of life left in it
been dumped on RHS but doesn't look critical
worthless now

But he paid 5.7m for it in 2107. Sounds like normal depreciation to me.
