Steel ramps on special at CT starting Friday.

If it comes in pairs, I only need one. Anyone want to split?

2 reasons, the bend at the top can prevent a moto from getting up, and also some bikes exceed 700lbs

plus having 2 ramps helps when you walk the bike up the ramp

I had a set. The bend is useful, for helping clear the bellypan when loading, but makes the ramp take up a lot more space when folded.

It's not just the bike you need to consider, especially for those going with a single ramp. It's wet bike weight plus rider. Even a ready-to-ride SS, full tank of gas, plus 200 lb rider is going to be awfully close to the single ramp capacity. One review indicates the ramp buckled.

Only needs to be considered if you ride the bike up the ramp, rather than walking it. I wouldn't consider riding up anything less than a Buddy Ramp.

there are some great videos on YouTube on guys loading vans with their bikes. Most of them they succeed in dropping or crashing them :-\

I've heard that some guy named Timmay gives lessons on how two medium sized guys can lift a bike into a van with no problems. :D

Manufactured ramps are far better than lumber. Lumber has a bad habit of moving when you don't want it to. I ended up catching a motorcycle once to prevent a fall out of a truck. That hurt.

I picked up a pair of these when they were on sale this past weekend.

I only need one of the two ramps, so if anybody wants to split on the other one it works out to $40. I can assembly it to make sure you don't get shorted any bolts etc.

PM me if interested

I hate to say it because i work at Canadian Tire and own this ramp but just want to warn that it is very heavy and it takes up a lot of space.

If I was looking for a ramp, I wouldn't be picking these ones. There are other aluminium that are way more user friendly and light.

However if oyu are looking for a deal, and don't mind to screw 500 little screws to put it together then go for it.

I gave my other half to a friend.

As a pair can also be used to lift your car, so you bend them and drive your car up them.

I read those reviews, I can tell you by experience of loading and unloading my bike at the track and other times moving bikes over the winter that weight is not a problem.
