Just thought some of you might find this useful. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brow...PRD~0407820P/Steel+Loading+Ramp.jsp?locale=en
If it comes in pairs, I only need one. Anyone want to split?
Careful
From the product page
"Not suitable for large street bikes"
On the flip side it also says
"This ramp is designed to provide 700 lbs per ramp (1400 lbs per pair) capacity"
2 reasons, the bend at the top can prevent a moto from getting up, and also some bikes exceed 700lbs
It's not just the bike you need to consider, especially for those going with a single ramp. It's wet bike weight plus rider. Even a ready-to-ride SS, full tank of gas, plus 200 lb rider is going to be awfully close to the single ramp capacity. One review indicates the ramp buckled.2 reasons, the bend at the top can prevent a moto from getting up, and also some bikes exceed 700lbs

there are some great videos on YouTube on guys loading vans with their bikes. Most of them they succeed in dropping or crashing them :-\
I read those reviews, I can tell you by experience of loading and unloading my bike at the track and other times moving bikes over the winter that weight is not a problem. It's not just the bike you need to consider, especially for those going with a single ramp.
