Lol I totally wouldve laughed too. Nothin funnier than a squid wiping out... :lol: especially doing something as simple as a u-turn hahaha
 
I agree people should wear gear but I guess many of them think it will never happen to them...I get very paranoid for the rider whenever I see them without gear now because I know what it feels like to lose skin...I was wearing full gear when I crashed except for my jeans..which didn't hold up of course and now I'm paying for it...my legs aren't so pretty anymore. From now on full gear for me from head to toe.

Mind your own ******* business and stop worrying about other ppl. Jeez ppl like you are just as annoying as squids if not more, atleast they don't shove their opinion down our throats
 
If I ever see a motorcyclist wearing full gear go down, I'm going to point and laugh while yelling, "All that gear and you still fell! You suck!"

I have the right to choose what I wish to do, as long as I am within the law.
I just went to Quizno's in short and T'shirt.
I felt stupid, but I did it.

And I have the right to do so.

i went down with shorts and a sweater. had road rash from my hip to my ankle. healed just fine other than a 2 inch scar on my hip where the meat is pretty thick. at the end of the day its either rider error or a car that gets you. i still dress according to the distance and my mind set. sometimes full gear other times not. riding a bike is risk enough. everything else is fate.
 
Well this is Canada so the road warrior has just as much right to start a new thread here abt squids as the squid not wearing proper gear. People stop hating. It's Canada Day today.
