Thank goodness Poland didn't make it in! Last time I put these flags on my car they screwed up my tint (bunched it up) where they were located.

However...I'll be buying one of these when I pass a CT today to support Canada in their 3 games before they kicked out.

England are in and play Panama. I don’t have an England shirt (kind of tarnished by rabid nut jobs) but I do have a Panama jersey. I’ll be wearing that. I have a collection of old soccer jerseys to confuse my neighbours. Colombia and Mexico and Brazil are around somewhere. I gave away my US one years ago.

Edit: I’d get a Canada one but I buy shirts because I like the design more than anything. The Canada one isn’t too exciting.

I may be over sensitive but coming out to find someone kicked my car door over soccer flags would wreck my day . Many of the hot blooded Latin countries take football way too seriously.
And then there are the Brits lol .

$1400 for the cheapest tickets I found for today’s Canada game.

Hard pass from me.

Buddy bought 4 tickets at 2k/each. He just told me yesterday ‘I paid 8k for 90min of play’….
Like the IOC, FIFA is in a race for the most corrupt body that exists solely to exploit the athletes. I do whatever I can to ensure that I don't encourage their grift.

I hear on the radio every day how much people are struggling, can barely afford rent, have to use food banks, etc etc...why isn't the stadium half empty at those prices. It's amazing how many people can come up with the money for these types of things. Seems to be so much disparity. Same with restaraunts with parking lots full every night of the week, would be much cheaper to cook at home. Thank god for credit cards.

I don’t disagree at all.

My friends / family work in Reno’s and only deal with big Reno’s so to them…there are no poor people. Just wish with massive cottages, garages with double decker lifts, lambos, Ferraris, and McLarens.

They don’t understand that there are poor people…interestingly enough we all struggled when younger.

But they forget that part.

Bit surprising how many empty seats were at the game. Someone took a wash.

The top few percent can't spend money fast enough. The stadium accommodates ~0.5% of gta population. Tourists and those from further away use some of that capacity. Half filling the stadium with 1%ers is much more profitable than having it full of people that can't afford the food/booze/merch.

The empty stands should indicate the value is just not there . There are tons of people that can afford those prices , they just didn’t. Leaf games are all sold out and you know they will suck .
