We just did the tour that Makers Mark offers of their facility and it was awesome. You can do all day tours of 3 or 4 different distilleries but that cost like $300 and we didn’t have the time.Not at all what I expected, everything done traditionally in a 200 year old distillery on 1100 acres. Every one of those bottles is dipped by hand in red wax to put that seal on it. If you buy a bottle there you can dip it yourself. There’s also a great restaurant there that we had lunch at .
