Ride Cancelled!
Hey everyone,
Is with great sadness that I will let mother nature take this one. I know this can be a long and hard ride and the chances or rain are way more than I myself can personally endure.
We will hope to reschedule this to another Sat, I am not rescheduling this to Sunday (sorry), but I may be hitting this roads Sunday. Some people are thinking to go Sunday (read thread) I have provided a few with the route Draft, while others have different rides in mind.

Hey so as suggested by Sabex we are setting up a group ride to buy chain lube, who is down?
hahaha just kidding, I want ot hit 507 / Elephant lake / Algonquin and back to Toronto all in one day. It will be a full day trip who is game?
Im riding a 250 so I am asking the dare-devils on the 600cc to understand this wont be a spirited ride and invite other fellow 250ers to tag along.

Currently we have possible chances of rain 90% (checked Wednesday June 6 2012, will update as we get closer), when I started the ride post we had no rain with Temps 11 to 18.

As suggested by some and due to the length of the ride and trying to avoid inner city traffic we are meeting outside of the city.
We are leaving from 48 and (Major MacKenzie Road at 9:30 am sharp! have a FULL TANK!!!

1) is it 2up friendly?
well, if you are your 2up can stay on a bike for 10 hours then yes.
2) I noticed you mentioned 250cc, I have a 600cc can I come?
sure but we are riding relaxed not spirited.
3) When do you think we will be back?
I am hoping to leave the meetup spot at 9:30 am, and based on google the route is 10 hours 30 minuted. Add up stops for lunch break, gas, and to strech then do the math. I am sorry if this seems a bit rude, but I can not say we will be back at 6pm when we may not.
4) I want to come but plan to leave the ride half way, is that cool?
It is, just be sure to let me know in advanced, I am not looking to leave anyone behind and if I notice someone is missing the entire group will turn around/wait until we find him/her, its a group ride!. Otherwise, I do the ride solo I have no problem giving you the route.
5) Is this spirited or relaxed?
I plan to do a relax ride, I am not looking for speeding tickets and some of the roads we are taking will have cops. I am doing this in hopes of taking some people up this area since they have never gone that way on the bike.
