Just for sake of comparing apples to apples, racing is not a track day and a track day is not racing.

Also, an engine not blowing at the end of or during the season does not prove there is no unnecessary wear and damage to said engine.

But if I were to take these drastic measures to "save" my engine by changing the oil for every ~2 hours of use, I would first do a periodic oil wear analysis to ensure the engine is operating safely and able to maintain maximum performance. People just spread misinformation cause they heard it from someone who knows someone else whose uncle's cousin is a top engine builder

The info I'm spreading is straight from the horses mouth and it's not just one engine builder but multiple who build engines for a living. Funny, there's a thread on the zx10 forum from a guy who found copper metal flake in his oil. He had just changed 1000 track miles earlier.

So if I run my bike this season on one oil change, when my engine is disassembled at the end of season for inspection and there's significant wear on my crank/cams/cylinder walls/transmission/clutch will you send me the $6000 I need to replace these parts? Or if I've spent $4000 to go race in NS and my motor pops will you refund me the money I spent to get there and now watch as well as the motor expense? For me it's cheap insurance to follow the directions from professionals that are involved in the industry. Yes I can buy my oil from my builder but I don't because it's too far for me to drive for just oil. What do you think brings in more revenue, a few jugs of oil or a full motor rebuild?

And ama is no longer a sanctioning body it's Moto America in which I haven't dabbled in yet let alone won. That would be something pretty amazing though lol.

i use Suzuki's OEM 10w40 mineral oil and Suzuki OEM filter every 6k kms.

As with most things in life it takes effort to learn about things you were not familiar with from various sources to be able to come to a conclusion on a question or thought. So yes, lots of reading from many sources, research of many different oil analysis fidnings, people's thoughts, the specifications, and testing, this is the conclusion I came up with.

I guess I am super obsessive and go really in depth about anything I purchase or make a choice on, one of my flaws

I think Asimov did something on this in his Foundation series, where someone researched, by reading other researchers, and coming to a conclusion based upon which they wanted to believe the most.

I use Dino or semi synthetic in my bike ow, and it seems happier.

I'll take a guess, V modifiers prevent oil from breaking down at high rpm?

That was one of the disadvantages when I did an analysis on the T6
