I'm not as big fan of Rogers, but I've used them for 30+years for internet access in Mississauga as they have always had a good price. Latest deal is 1.5 GB download, unlimited, for $60/m, $67.80 with HST. I buy nothing else from Rogers, just internet.
I really don't need 1.5 GB speed and would be happy with 150 or 250 MBPS, but Rogers' contrived pricing puts this over $100/m so the 1.5 GB is a better deal.
Neighbor mentioned that Rogers cashback credit card pays 2% on all transactions, but this base rebate is grossed up by 1.5 to net 3% when applied to Rogers' services. Which is actually a great deal.
We use zero cash and pay everything by credit card. So every month I redeem the full $67.80 for my Rogers bill and use the balance of the 2% rebate to apply to other charges.
If you have all of, or a combo of, Rogers cable + internet + cell services then the 3% rebate would be great value.
I could have been taking advantage of this for years, but you don't know what you don't know.
