RIP Robert Redford

I know enough to ask "Why all the different hats".

I think one of favorite films of his was "The Sting". Still shows well.

My cousin was an usher at The Elane Theatre in Scarborough, “The Sting” played there for like 5 months straight. He knew every word of dialogue in that film.

He could also resite every scene from “Jaws” word for word, it played there for a long time too. He had a little trouble with the Japanese dialogue in “Tora,ToraTora” though.

He produced a number of great films he did not appear in , well rounded talent

RIP

Great actor and a force in the industry.

Most importantly never heard a scandal with him in it.

The bruhaha from him and his buddies helicopter skiing in an off limits (avalanche warnings) and ecologically sensitive area in Utah and the resulting fines and court orders has been scrubbed from the internet. Rules for me, you know the rest of the analogy.

Three Days of the Condor was really good, IMO.

Not Oscar winning, like All the Presidents Men, but I found it very entertaining and I think that movie was classic Robert Redford in his prime.

That's the Redford movie I like (along with Sneakers). The scene where Max turns his gun on Atwood and shoots him in his home office then calmly tells Turner he has no reason to shoot him anymore, but he's a dead-man-walking, anyway is cold.
