RIP Catherine O'Hara

She was amazing on SCTV, never overshadowed by the incredible amount of talent on that show. Every time I drive through Orangeville, I tell whoever I'm with that that's how they got the name Melonville in SCTV, and the other person invariably looks at me with a mix of confusion and mild irritation.
 
I was talking to a guy a few years back that bumped into her in a bakery in Goodwood where they filmed Schits Creek and said she was the nicest person you would ever meet, Eugene Levy was a different story. A friend of mine was a cable installer, for Roger’s I think, in the 80’s and had to install a cable at his house. My buddy said he was a real condescending A-hole and couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Glad to hear about her being a decent human being.

I’ve heard Levy is…difficult.
