Have not seen this in a while - love it - on prime
music and musicians I grew up with ...that final get together was/is incredible  (y)
Annoyed me when Prime cut off the credits. 😡

Next up Led Zepplin. 🍿

Watched it in iMax .... perfect from a science stand point, good mix of humour, Gosling excellent choice.
Good read as well

Like The Martian...well based in physics

Good not great but i certainly enjoyed it.
I agree on seeing it in iMax. Excellent cinematography and great sound.
Is this kind of a glitzed up version of Episode 25 - The Devil in the Dark?

Best to read the book ...it's excellent ....and unique.

A freebie with many awards
feel good big time (y)

Chasing where to stream Miami Vice 2006 came across this and have never seen it
James Caan and others very familiar.. 🍿
Trailer

Freebie with slightly annoying subtitles I can't lose.
Were the 80's that grim .....

PM me if you need a link for Miami Vice fella.

Damn what an opener....I've seen Troll Wall in person ...was scary even from the ground.
Like the leads too. 🍿

As a former casual white water kayaker that brought some memories and appreciation of the art and effort behind the film. Charlize is a force of nature in it.
It also reaffirmed I never EVER wanted to be a climber.

From current thriller to classic
Good transfer too. Terrific sound track. Will finish in the morning

Actually stayed awake and finished it ....liked the music...neat to see actors like Dennis Hopper very young plus a number of western movie stalwarts.
Very stilted dialogue 🤷‍♂️

Watched Avatar: Fire and Ash, not great, not terrible, just forgettable.

Much of the movie felt like Avatar 2.5, instead of a 3rd movie. Like it was a bunch of plots not used in the previous movie, very recycled. We didn't get much more depth in the characters, or time to relish in these moments before moving onto the next thing. Little joy, just conflict after conflict, became tiring. Very surprising from Cameron. Hopefully he moves onto some other projects this series should be done.

Twice now I've looked at the second movie, forgetting that I had seen it before. I'm done with "Dances With Blue Aliens."

Enjoyed seeing the first Hunger Games movie but it seemed truncated...
The second feels more of what I recall - very dark. ICE Echoes.
Lawrence is a fine actor tho was over exposed for a while there.
I firat saw her in WInterbone and was blown away.
Seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman is a real treat .....his death was a huge loss..
He is perfectly cast in this.
I have a hard time losing Josh Hutcherson' association with Bridge to Tarabitha.
Sutherland puts on a master class in evil in the series. He is a loss too

The series almost has more relevance now as fascism is alive and well in the US. 😡

Watching this after reading Juice ( highly recommended ) is very appropo

I really think these movies improved as they were released ... Hanging Tree which Lawrence actually sang herself was terrific film making. One can hope it will not come to this in the US.

I thought that she was really good in "Don't Look Up."
