I am looking for a rear wheel stand to do bike maintenance like lubing the chain. What are some good stand brands?
I think there was a vendor here selling a set for like 75
It's a bike stand...not rocket science, you can overpay for some tubing pretty easily.
Here's a decent one out of alloy, $49. You can get a front stand too.

I absolutely agree with CafeRay. There seems to be some sort of Bike Stand Snob Fest in the area. It's just some metal that holds a couple of hundred pounds off the ground.
Whether it's made by 5 year old boys in China or Ferrari labs, it will support your bike, no worries.
Many places will ship them to your house. I got a spoolless one from kapscomoto and my spool one is from Canadian tire. Both work just fine and both were dirt cheap. I have never used the front one on either set btw.

I've been using these for a few years and they have held up fine. My next ones will probably be a used set of Pit Bulls though.http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforu...nds-75-00-for-the-Pair-at-Dynamic-Cycle-Parts
yes. they seem decent, and definitely $75.00 decent fro a front and rear. I would buy but they are not close to me so it doesnt work out. maybe I will pcik up a set at the Jan show?
Sounds like neither of you have used a good stand. I don't own a pitbull...yet.
I use the $49 stand, three years. I put it under the swingarm, the bike doesn't fall down. Like magic.
Maybe a Pitbull has wifi and bluetooth.
