Thought I’d try something new....grapefruit flavour instead of lemon. Needs to wait a bit to try, but initial taste is a-ok!
Alrighty….I have invented a drink through necessity. The necessity was drinking an untouched bottle of Bombay Saphire Bramble gin. This is raspberry/blackberry gin and it’s actually not bad.
I mixed a healthy amount of the gin with some fever tree elderflower tonic water (delicious stuff on it’s own), added a dash of orange bitters and a couple of maraschino cherries (plus a little syrup), all over ice and stirred.
It’s a really good drink. I’ve had quite a few to test it.

This stuff is delicious. Knocked it off a while back. Not cheap…but damn it’s good.
It is a good one. It was $87 usd at Safeway today.
If you can find their 18yr Extremely Rare for sale anywhere it’s truly something special. I have a bit left for special occasions.
