Ordered my personalized plates today!

Someone told him it's a bad idea to post your license plate online ;)

No it's not that. It's more like who cares. I was excited for myself because it's the first time I'll have personalized plates (well, plate since theres just one) but after like 50 views and no comment I remembered that no one here gives a **** about anything anyone else does or has unless there is a way they can flame them about it. So **** it. Who cares?

There are thousands of people registered on this site and not everyone is going to find your topic amusing.
However, I was looking forward to reading the original post as I was contemplating the same idea.
Either way, congrats!

What gets me a little worked up is how they charge 200$+ to get it done for a bike with a maximum of 5 characters and they charge the same for a car that you can have up to 8 characters and make two of!?
I'm having a hard time justifying the expense.

I have a personal plate I had made for my car back in 1992 IIRC. Back then it was only $120 for the set. Just like the post above, I can't see the justification of buying one today, unless I won the lotto of course.

Ah **** it. Yes. That's your answer. That's your answer to everything. Tattoo it on your forehead. Your revolution is over Mr Lebowski. Condolences, the bums lost. My advice to you is to do what your parents did: get a job sir. The bums will always lose. DO YOU HEAR ME LEBOWSKI?!

Its was like $175 when i got mine done last year.

Also, i'd say the plate was worth it as it was only a one time fee. It gives the bike a unique feeling.

Also makes it quite easy for the cops to remember you...

Doesn't it cost more every year when you buy your sticker?

Exactly!
I never get the novelty of having customized plates. If I had to chose a plate, I'll probably get 2Z5S3EM

Damn straight. Cagers only have to pay $12.50 per letter but bikers are discriminated against and are charged $40.00 per letter! This is a service that should be tendered out to the private sector, I bet they could get it down to $1.28 per letter. Friggin fat *** goverment bureaucracy wasting our hard earned money again. One more good reason to spoil our ballots!

...seriously?

The only reason I haven't gotten one myself is not the cost, its being able to remember me. I don't want that. I don't want some random person being able to recognize me as I go about my business. Stalked and recognized by thieves or something of that nature.

is this true?

SO if I want a 5 letter plate,

FREKY= $200 charge for the plate!?!?!??
4 letter - FREK = $160?

I thought they meant above that 200 for bikes /5 letters = 40 per letter your paying
Cars 200/8 letters= 25 per letter not sure where 12.50 came.....

maybe I misunderstood all together?
