I went for a drive to check out the destruction.. It amazing the power of mother nature.
Many places are still without power, so obviously, mnay intersections have no traffic lights.

Its shocking to see how many people dont know, or dont understand trhe rules of the road
during situations like this.
No power at intersection- treat it as a four-way stop.
Flashing yellow- No need to stop, approach with caution
flashing red- Treat as a stop sign, proceed when its clear.

many people just drive right through...

I'd like to see cops pulling over people for this, rather than seeing then speeders.
 
I saw the aftermath of a collision at a non-functioning traffic signal in Georgetown. (looked minor)

On a day like this, it's impossible for the cops to be at every intersection with a non-functioning traffic signal. Seemed like they were pretty tied up just blocking access to roads that were impassable due to trees down.
 
I watched a guy on Rutherford near Vaughan Mills go up the turning lane yesterday and right into the intersection without stopping simply to cut ahead of the traffic that was actually doing what they were susposed to do. He almost t-boned a person and then proceeded to honk, bully his way around in front of them and showed them his IQ.

I got up next to him further up the road and gave him hell. Middle aged european looking guy in a MB GLK. He pretended not to hear me but I know he did. I could tell by the way the corners of his mouth tightend every time i would call him a stupid kunt.

I don't like to wish evil onto others but if I were to see a big rig plow into that, I'll laugh my arse off

Hahahahaha....... So true....... All the other drivers in the GTA are the most courteous and respectful people I've ever had the privilege to share the road with.

Yup - visited my folk's yesterday and almost ended up with a dodge caravan up my arse. Nothing like coming to a stop at an intersection where all lights are off, take a peak in the rear-view and see a sideways caravan coming in for a landing. I'm sure the worst part is the idiot was probably cursing me 'for stopping for no reason'.
