New Member from Niagara

Good Day:

I have been lurking in this forum for quite sometime and thought it was time to become a member.

I ride a 2020 Suzuki VStrom 650.



I am a 69 year old who has been riding for about 50 years.

I like to motorbike camp. I go with my son who has a 2014 Suzuki Vstrom. We've been to several provincial parks in Ontario and in 2022 we did the James Bay/Billy Diamond Highway trip.

I also have a couple of Kawasaki triples I am in the process of restoring. The green one is done and the red one is a work in progress.

Hi Kev, nice selection of bikes. The 400`s are proper motorcycles as Dog intended, be a real shame if you had to sell the green one to me. We`re of similar age and experience, looking forward to your input here.

I had the green one since about 1990. I rode it for 3 years before parking it. I bought a pile of bikes(2 400s and 3 350s) back in the 90s from a guy who was losing his storage for 200$. Now I have 4 of them with ownerships in my name. I have been going through and restoring them one at a time. They all need major restoration but most of the parts are there.

It keeps me busy now that I am retired.

I have no intention of selling any of them. At least not yet.

Do you get out with any of the locals from the CVMG? I don’t myself as I’m still hustling for work but, I meet up occasionally. Hoping to get out more this year. Andy Clark and some others are good fellas that meet up for breakfast out your way I believe.

No, I haven't connected with the group. I really should sometime but life gets in the way. They say you are busier when you are retired than when your still working. I only have a motorcycle license and don't drive cars. It limits my mobility in the winter but it gives me a good excuse to spend more time in the garage, working on my projects.
