New Guy

Got insurance off Ronn from NFP lighting fast.

Paid a consumption tax on a used product, which is unethical double dipping by the government. But got my plates and T sticker.

Now for a safety and oil change.

Welcome to GTAM, and the 2 wheeled world.

Ride like you're invisible is the best advice any experienced rider will give you. That, and always keep learning - if you have the opportunity for more training, take it.
PP nailed it.

That and "ride your own ride". By that we mean when/ if out with others ride at your own pace - what you feel comfortable with. Friends will always wait for you at the next intersection. If not they might not be your friends and then your better alone anyways.

I was riding. But not up there. I live in midtown Toronto.

Put on just over 40km riding yesterday. Only a couple minor screw ups.

We all started somewhere. Ride safe, particularly right now when there's no guarantee there's a hospital to treat you if something happens. I'm sitting things out (at least so far as anything beyond maybe a poke through town) for the time being. As much as that's a total bummer.
