New 796 monster already issues

I'm not sure if it is in all monsters but mine seems to have some sort of plastic looking coating on the inside. The inside looks much darker/smoother than the outside.
 
OMG, you guys should come take a look at my VTR's engine cases.
Never have I ever felt like complaining about it?
It's supposed to look that way.

As far as I am aware Shell and Husky (they use Shell gas) 91 is the only ethanol-free gas in Ontario. Petro's 94 is the highest, from what I've read.
