New 796 monster already issues

That looks like a casting imperfection, not the coating. Nothing you can do about that unless you grind it down smooth and paint over.

If it's a casting imperfection I wouldn't sweat it ... if it had been paint bubbles I'd be worried about something going on underneath there, like rusting. Hey, at least your gas tank isn't imploding!

Didn't they fix that gas tank problem years ago? Glad I have an old-fashioned steel tank on my Monster.

Hopefuly that gas stank will stay normal ;) you would think that issue would be fixed by now...

It sounds like a defective batch of bikes.
Just think about what is wrong on the inside that you can't see.
Return the bike.

seems like manufacturer is not cleaning their dies out of debris before they pour in the metal....or their are too lazy to grind the imperfections out since this may have been a "large batch"

The dies are getting pitted if every one looks like that - shame on them for not doing the proper maintenance.

If you take the time to go back and look at old Honda's and Suzuki's, etc, pretty much any bike with cast engine parts you will see that every bike that is the same model or even uses the same engine will have the exact casting marks on the engine.
It's normal. Take a pill.

Update: Went to dealer and noticed they all have the same issue... Odd.. Makes me sleep better at night knowing I'm not the only one.

ahahaha too funny. I would't worry about it. Keep an eye on it. You still have two years warranty. If it gets worse at least you have it documented now.
The gas tank issue is still not solved, what a joke. They will replace tank under warranty but its the same faulty tank.
Just use ethanol free gas ie Shell 91 and you should be ok

Sounds good... Yeah always do put 91 octane in all my bikes.. do you suffer from the same problem? which monster do you have?

Thats why I bought a naked bike so I can enjoy the engine ;)

I have 2011 796 abs. Not sure if i have bubblees on engine case. Ive done a few oil changes myself but didnt notice anything irregular. Not all 91 octane is ethanol free. From what I know just shell and a few petro canadas
