She is parked with my summer car.
I don't go into the garage too much in winter.
But when I see my bike I just fall in love every time I see her.
That's how I know I own the right bike.

I actually talk to her sometimes.

Am I the only one who loves his bike this much?

sounds like it feels great to be a suzuki madura owner

I'd add a whip antenna for a CB radio and maybe some handlebar streamers . Own it.

I love my FJR so much I got her some company to spend the winter with...
'Buddy's storing his BMW at my place...

Does she have a sexy name, if not then you are only averagely obsessed.

Mine is called Venus :D

It's not hard to look underneath and see if a bike is driven in ****** winter conditions, no thanks.

No silly name.
I try. But they all sound silly.
But I pat her and hug her occasionally.
Tell her how awsome she is.
And that she makes my heart beat very fast.

Madura is home to the sport of bull drag racing, they sit a small kid on a wooden sled pulled by two bulls and do 10 second 100 meter dashes. Maybe its not a kid just a short Indonisain Cowboy.
Totally cool name.

Now would be a good time to bond and check its crankshaft.

I may or may not have been sitting in my garage the other night, having a pint and just looking at my bike.

Ew!
Heart! he definitely said heart :agave:
and he calls her 'Baby' but I'm pretty sure he calls everything he rides baby so it's not a literal term, it's a generic affection inflection.

....Am I the only one who thinks of my motorcycle as a chunk of steel and aluminum that makes noise and puts the wind in my face, and takes me on adventures, the latter 2 bits being the parts I enjoy most? The actual bike is just a tool to me.

Sure, I like my motorcycle, but I don't love my motorcycle.

Some of y'all sound like you've crossed a line somewhere. ;)

Memories aren't made in the garage. It's a pice of steel, not a Ming dynasty vase. Ride the damn thing, you can't take it to your grave with you, and no, a speck of rust won't turn it into a pile of dust and destroy it's resale value.

And while you're at it, stop worrying about resale value. Ride the damn bike.

Hallelujah! Holy ****! Where's the Tylenol?
