I drove out to do my M2 exit this week and I forgot my ownership back at home.
Yes, I'm aware, dumb. Does the MTO check for papers? I have my insurance slip.....
am I going to have to drive home? (2hrs)

My guess is that all you need is your license because you can be borrowing someone's bike to do the test.

As mentioned above, best to call MTO to confirm.

I just had to show my licence also :)

You can steal a bike and ride that if you want. As long as the lights and the horn work. ;)
They don't care about the ownership, nor insurance. Valid DL only.
And the test is easy, too. Just wave your head around like a maniac and signal a lot. Stay in the proper tire track (blocking position).
The only thing I got nabbed for is cutting curners around the curves a bit but that wasn't major.
Just passed this morning in Burlington, the instructor was very nice and reasonable, too.

Your question doesn't really make sense, Have you already gone there and done it and asking when you already know the answer or do you plan on going there with no ownership and hoping they don't check?

If you're operating someone else's vehicle, then you still need to have the ownership with you. I've not heard of it being asked for at a test, but having it is a requirement.

If you happen to get pulled over during your test then you'll definitely need it!

All they ever asked is for Make/Model and License plate on the vehicle you'll be doing the test on.
I've never been asked to provide the vehicle registration, and neither have any of the people I just asked in the office (Riders and drivers alike).

All you need is you license. Bam. done.
