Hey guys,

Now that Ted retired I need mechanic suggestions.

I found a nice metal piece in my rear fz1 tire this morning. Both tire psi’s were bad.

I’ve gone to some shops before like 109 but was not impressed.

Thanks

What location are you in? i use twin season recreation TSR for my tires and install

Should have mentioned I’m in Danforth area but I was travelling to west end

Also remembered using Riders Choice before for tire change so I may try them this time

But I will need to find Ted replacement too

West end shop I go to for tire swap is KMM - located very close to Derry/Kennedy. Simple - no nonsense shop.

I don't know the "who's who", but I sold a bike, end of May, and the fellow who bought it, took it to Rosey Toes for a safety.
Fellow said nothing has really changed since he was there ages ago.

A bit far, but Adrian at Moto Tech in Milton or Marty at Milton Honda Powersports were our go to guys.
Adrian never responded to me on 3 occasions. I know people are busy but yikes.

Mulling over the implication that Rosey Toes migrated to the DriveON safety system

Have a set of barely used tire irons if anyone else wants to believe in themselves. Might even have some of those plastic rim protector's too.
I might take you up on that. I want to experience believing in myself, then curse for 30 minutes, feel defeated, eventually stop giving a damn, brute-force it, and swear I'll never do it again... until next time, when I've completely forgotten all about it. 😂

AlleyCat is around Riverside. Some people swear by him, while others say he's a bit of a character. I tried to get my wheels balanced by him, but things didn't work out.

Otomoto is also around Regent Park. Someone from here had a bad experience with them, but in my case, I stored my bike with them over the winter two years ago, and everything went great.

That sounds like my experience too:)

I'll go fish them out to confirm what I have and they are yours.
