Those work bit they might be lumpy and that will start to hurt on a long ride. I use cycling helmet liner, it is thin and keeps the helmet liner clean. Just wash it every few rides.I was thinking a head scarf/wrap, like those pirate riders wear![]()

I have this pretty robust helmet lock that I haven't used in years and just gathering dust. You're welcome to it for free. Just have to pick it up in Whitby.Soo funny, 999 999 999....lol

Thanks for the offer, I was thinking about it some more and I rather lock the helmet near the back of the bike so it can stay on the seat. Plus my bars might be used for other gadgets.I have this pretty robust helmet lock that I haven't used in years and just gathering dust. You're welcome to it for free. Did you get the pin lock visor with it? My old Shoei came with one, it is really good for keeping the fog off the visor.Ok went for a test ride yesterday, which was kinda perfect with the wind and all.
Wow what a different a expensive helmet makes. No rattles, and weird noises from wind. Even with the visor open it was much more bearable and quiet. With it closed it was a bit echoy since it's more sealed, and I noticed a bit of fog on the bottom middle from breathing, but went away. Field of vision is also better compared to before, more wider.
The only issue is the strap. It has a ratchet system, had it a bit tight, also where the strap lands, felt more on my throat then my chin, have to see about adjusting it.
Lastly the manual is hilarious bad, so many pages for so little helpful info.
Otherwise should be money well spent!

It does come with a pinlock, but again, lousy instructions don't tell you what it's for. I've never had a fancy helmet like this so it's all new to me.Did you get the pin lock visor with it? My old Shoei came with one, it is really good for keeping the fog off the visor.
Excellent, and good point about the back of neck, always have that problem in the summer.I wear a durag - fits my big noggin well and I dont have to worry about cleaning the inside of my helmet much as it functions like a sock lol (I'm bald).
Nice part is it provides some coverage for the back of my neck so I don't have to worry about sunburn either.
They are pretty cheap!
