Leslie n' Lakeshore Last Thursday

Instead of hiring a bunch of security guards and having the lot monitored why don't they just close at 9. The big crowd only shows up after 9. The store is dead from 9 to 10 anyways.

There are legal ramifications of people gathering in your property with or without your concent. If an incident (accidental or not) was to happen in the property the owner can be held responsible and be deep dudu which will cost money guilty or not... While it seems the owner is trying to keep the event going, I am sure the security people are there to maintain a general order and mainly to report back. If things seems to be getting out of hand, I am sure they will call the cops and have the everyone removed.

Closing a store for a bike meet is pretty stupid, we can just keep the middle clear for an hour or so until they close, no big deal really.

hmm... store is dead after 9, which coincidentally is the same time bike night starts heating up... hmmm ... LOL

I can remember last year there was one thursday night where I got down late to meet up with some friends and everyone was scattered or parked at timmies. Found out that the cops had cleared the area shortly before and everyone had to either leave or move. Its not like the property owner JUST found out about this, i'm sure they've known for years. I think if they wanted to shut it down they would have done it already.

I didn't see anyone really bother the security or say anything but I think for the most part there were no incidents that really attracted too much attention (except for that purolator truck attempting the drive thru...)

If it is shut down, I'm sure another one will pop up. King St. is pretty popular, starbucks and multiple pizza options, and some nice scenery like downtown architecture n' stuff (and biitcheez)

my cousin and i rolled through, because we always got random guys stopping us, going google over our bikes and asking us to check out L&L over the years, we never went because we had better places to be and meet people, but we thought maybe we are missing something, as we got more people telling us to come by recently, we decided to check it out.

so we decided to come by last time/week, and we weren't impressed at all, first off the location sucks balls, half the lot is flooded with bright eye raping flood lights, the other pitch dark - tim hortens side, the ground is wet like there was a piss fest, pure sausage fest no chicks other then the "slutty girls in that one corner" , with the guys who obviously have no respect for other people, like the one guy yelling at the purolator truck trying to get the driver to turn to get drive through. I wasn't so much ****** at the wanna be tough guy biker dude trying to tell the truck driver to just walk in because his truck was too big, even though the truck driver has the right to drive through, it was the way that guy was telling the truck driver off, with such arrogance, i don't think you have to be an a hole to be cool or become an a hole because you own a bike "the a hole / bad boy attitude only works with bimbos you're trying to attract" not the rest of the world. If you talked to us like that, we really wouldn't say much, except watch you pick up your teeth off the ground. For a second we were giving those people the benefit of doubt and thought those few people were drunk, so we left and probably will never come back, and stop people we know from going there aswell, i seriously don't understand whats even cool about that location, specially since its a sausage fest with a a few high school like arrogant guys and chicks in that one corner.lol

met few people there who were more layed back, some nice people, and majority of weird people

if we ever get another random biker telling us how L&L is cool and that we should come there, we will tell him no thanks, and laugh, because ghetto is not our style, there are much better meets & cooler people in other locations.

for anyone whose not been to this and wants to and is excited to, don't put your hopes up, it's probably the crappiest meet we've ever been too. not saying everyone there was trouble but a select few make everyone else look bad too. We noticed alot of the people there try to be hard when their not, specially when they found out some of the people we were with were canadian special forces.hahahaha

verdict: L&L two healthy thumbs down! no wonder the ertefa meet moved to York Region.lol

Yeah I'm not really seeing what gender has to do with any of this... isn't a bike meet y'know.. about bikes? and riding them? and hanging out with other like-minded people?

If you're trying to score a date: I suggest craigslist or kijiji instead.

on a side note: I saw a decent amount of women there last week. Maybe 2WET was too busy looking at the guys to notice the women...

Jebus Christ... Am I gonna have to come back and straighten the a$$hats out?? This is getting out of hand....

The ground was wet because it had just poured rain...that happens once in a while. You must be new to riding because the ratio between males and females in the motorcycling world has always been way off. As a matter of fact, after 27 years of riding to many different "hang outs" I have never seen this amount of girls riding. I'm not complaining either, it's a good thing.

I was there last week, and I would say there was more women then Ive ever seen! YEAY!

As well if you want to park in the Price Chopper lot, most were buying an apple or something small and leaving the receipt on their bikes.
