KTM RC390 Leaked to world...from Canada!

Who knows. Show people are probably not privy to last minute decisions, same as with Apple Store employees.

LOL ... yeah it's called KTM North America .... in another words, if US is interested and imports the bike we will see it in Canada, if US doesn't no 390 in Canada. insignificant market cannot haul the cost on its own especially, if they sell few units ... remember, it's very underpowered bike for most Canadians ... plus it's a single. it needs to have more than one cylinder, preferably 3 and up ... LOL 2

If you look at the page again, the bike doesn't show up in the banner, yet it will show if you google it .... strange. As said many times before the street business is not really what KTM North America cared greatly. It's a shame with such a good product available.

Ummmm... ok

That's a japanese video. They they race five stroke 140 ocatane gas. Not really relevant to our discussion. Slow race, anyways. A heavy engine helps you lean the bike. On top of it you only get like 50KM out of them before they blow up.

Any bike under 600CC, even if it's babied on the street, needs a rebuild every 5000KM-6000KM

Already decided against the bike based on internet, eh? Good luck buying any bike at all ...

I've made numerous significant decisions based on internet research. Car, home builder, contractors. Haven't regretted a single decision this way.

So, a Japanese 250cc running race gas is faster than Japanese > 600cc bikes running race gas because... it's in Japan?
My guess is he's a skilled rider who knows how to ride a 250cc two stroke.

My response was to your blanket statement "Anything with less than triple digit HP is useless on the street and absurd on track". The video clearly shows a 250cc bike holding it's own on track.

Guess I should rebuild my street/track 250cc since I don't baby it and it's waaay past the 6000km since it's last rebuild.

hi daught what is a 5 stroke? You must know the first 4 strokes?? Suck Squeeze Bang Blow ???
Whats the last one???

By the way why did you edit your post.. i like the part where you thought it was some kind of supercharged or turbocharged bike beating those other bikes!!!!

It's probably a marketing video, where they paid the big bikes to take it easy on the 250.

This is a conversation between people that know engines. Do your research on ICE theory.

I really hope you're deliberately being obtuse....otherwise you're dumber than I thought, and anyone listing to you may potentially have their intellect absorbed by your stupidity. Brian P's 2007 CBR 125 had a thrashed 70,000+ kms on it last time I saw it...and still ran like a top......and he was leading rides full of 600cc and 1000cc superbikes thru the Smokies on his tiny little bike.....far as I know the guy who bought it is still thrashing it on bone stock motor.

the guy that bought it from brian p now sold it.

Spit?

WOW what a sharp looking bike. I'm glad someone finally made i bike under 600cc that i wouldn't be embarrassed to ride. looks like it would make a great starter bike tho I'm sure it wont be cheap. Also i would if insurance will classify it as a super sport and put some crazy premium on it.
