Meh, Sex Ed is a political football that will have critics no matter who put's it forward.
The fact is, you will never get a consensus on sex ed. Never.
My opinion will differ from my neighbour. How I raise my kids, what I teach them, discuss with them.
Should we rely on the education system to teach sex ed?
I don't care how good or bad it is. It won't be perfect. But, it's my job to be a parent. That means, being involved with my kids to discuss things openly.
I can't fault the government on this one. If there is anything to be upset about with the current government is they got re-elected after billions wasted, BS cover ups and no accountability. That neither opposing political party could muster up a decent campaign to kick them out of office says a lot more about the politics of this province.
Folks actually voted to put them back in power. It's unbelievable. But, sex ed? Not even a blip on my radar. Any party would be fubar for proposing anything new or updated.
