If they really thought what you "corrected" they wouldn't have plastered their face on TV saying they saw it or their kids saw what happened. There were at least 3 people being interviewed on CityTV that said they heard something, saw something or their kids did.

True story.
Years ago after another incident in that area I was talking to two Metro Cops and asked them why don't they crack down on that area. Why don't they setup a small command post there? Why not increase bicycle and foot patrol? The essence of my ideas and questions were to show a force and control by Police to take back the neighborhood.
His response "It's like roaches, ever seen what happens when you turn on the lights in a room with roaches, they scatter and run in every direction. We don't want them going into other areas, we want them to stay here".
I tend to forget a lot of things, but that answer is pretty much verbatim as to what he said.

I suggest the CFO stop issuing gun licences & ATT's to these gang-bangers.
your on a different planet if you think these firearms are issued to them legally, and that they request an ATT. they will be smuggled up from the US or stolen from a lawful gun owners home etc. any assaults, robberies, arrests for weapon charges will result in a firearms prohibition for them. to the person who thinks police resources are spent harassing legal gun owners it must just be you as ive owned numerous firearms for many years and I always shoot in the country, never a range and ive never been harassed or questioned about anything so I don't know where your getting that from, these gang bangers are searched constantly for firearms and weapons.

AJAX - A shooting in Ajax late Monday night has sent one man to hospital and landed five men in police custody.
A man in his 20s was shot in the back near Dreyer Drive and Lambard Crescent in south Ajax shortly before midnight.
He was taken to hospital in Ajax before being transferred to a Toronto hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A gun was recovered at the scene.

When it comes to "the Jane and Finch area", most kids there act like thugs and will be treated as such. Yes, cops are out to get them if they're acting like little thugs. I've come by so many instances where people want to fight and always say "YO BRO IM FROM JANE AND FINCH" followed by me laughing saying "so what?". These individuals aren't the ones running around with guns but they act like they do and back down on fights they start.
I had a black kid (sorry if this is stereotypical or racist but its true) in Wonderland pull this **** on me when I was with my GF and her cousin. He called my gf and her cousin out acting all tough and when I stepped in, he pulled out the "im from Jane and Finch" line and asked if I wanted to fight. I agreed and he said "Do you not see the color of my skin?" I laughed and said "Does it look like I give a ****?". He ended up running up to "his buddies" telling them that I wanted to fight. They told him to back off and let it go. We were in line...
He ended up screaming like a sissy 5 mins later. (We were at the Halloween Haunt crap)
And people wonder why "Cops pick on them for no reason"???
Don't even get me started on the Bloods vs Crips ****..... *sigh....*

Had a guy (happened to be black) in my class 5 years ago that flashed his gun in his belt as well as showing the raw heroin in syringes he was carrying around while we were in our grade 10 English class. Thinking back, I should have told someone or called the cops on him..... (Vaughan Secondary School if anyone is wondering)
PS. I do feel sorry for those who are truly innocent and shot down/killed for no reason at all. **** like that happens when kids run around with guns.
