A friend with a shop in Brampton had a guy come in asking him if he wanted to buy counterfeit bills. He looked at them and said they looked good but passed on principle.

Someone else in the mall bought some.

Counterfeit money is as indiscriminate as a land mine. The person getting cheated could be well off, with the ability to absorb the hit. It could also be a single mom needing it for groceries.
