I think I am in love!

What the eff is THAT?! At Bandit with partial GSX-R1100 bodywork? I kinda like it.

Another thing to consider is a lot of these large engine air-cooled bikes would simply not meet emissions standards anywhere.

Sure they will as long as they are in a mild state of tune.
They couldn't make 160+ hp and rival a GSXR1000 with an air/oil cooled bike, but keeeping it down to 100 hp should do it.

And that's why these bikes don't sell in North America.

Standard forks, non radial brakes, etc.

I dunno. Park it next to a Z1000 or a Speed Triple. Not exactly the same style of bike but still.

Looks just like a Triumph bonneville with a more modern tank. . .

It's only $9999 in the US, or $10,999 with ABS!!
Same price as a top spec Bonneville, with double the power, with Honda reliability and their always awesome PGM-FI, and optional ABS. What's not to love.
Let's see what Honda Canada gouge Canadians for this bike.

Well I'm tickled pink Honda had the gumption to bring it to Canada. Now let's see how buyers respond with actual money, that's the true test. Wonder if there will be one at the December show?

I see a limited number of units at 11.9k and 12.9k (ABS), possibly selling for more due to demand. That would be ideal, in a weird way, justifying the CB's introduction into NA and encouraging more aftermarket. 2014 models then ship in higher numbers with stable pricing. Classic red, that nice old-school Goldenrod and maybe a special edition Black (upgraded pipes, suspension and race fairing similar to the concept bike).

Most interesting spec for me:

Tire Front: 110/80-18
Tire Rear: 140/70-18

18" wheels are de rigueur for this bike style but may hinder tire shopping. No Pirelli Diablos on this bike unless you swap the rims for 17s but that would make the bike look stupid.

Great news if it comes here, I guess this will get me go out and buy a brand new bike.
