Sony's Playstation Network was hacked again Monday for the second time. The data mined was usernames, names, addresses, and CC#s. Do you really think the MTO's database is (much) more secure? It's like a shopping list of bikes by make, model, year, and kms, complete with your address.

Agreed, anyone remember maybe ten years ago a bunch of people got busted at the MTO for doing illegal things like giving people drivers licenses etc?

If they can trace your address from your license plate, they probably don't need your license plate to begin with to find your bike.

Also people are forgetting, if a plate really is needed. A potential thief could just go to say L and L Timmies on a Thursday and go shopping.
