As I work at a Honda (non motorcycle) dealer I ve access to all recalls so I thought I'd share.

Emissions Recall: 2021-2025 CRF300L – Non-Compliant Fuel Tank Cap (Expansion) (L23)

SAFETY RECALL: 2020-2025 Left Handlebar Switch Harness Continuity Failure (Update 2) 2020-2025 CRF1100

Safety Recall: 2025 CB1000SP – Gear Shifter Pedal Bolt May Fall Off (L24)

Yup got my notice a couple days ago for the handle bar switch, also was told the fix is back ordered

Hmm, the CRF300L gas cap recall has no details on the Honda website. Oh well. I guess I might eventually get a notice in the mail if the posties decide to start working again. Hopefully I don't get my nads burnt off in the meantime by an exploding gas tank because of CUPW...

Postal service resumed over two weeks ago.

CUPW says that the rotating strikes are only effecting rural areas, yet not one piece of mail has been delivered to anyone at my 30 unit apartment building since the 10th. Even the junk mail bin by the mail boxes is sitting empty. At work, we have about a dozen cheques that we mailed out in the days preceding October 10th that still haven't been delivered to suppliers in the GTA. We've also only had mail delivered to the office twice since the strikes started and we normally receive flyers, cheques and invoices every day.

SAFETY RECALL: 2024-2025 CBR650R Left Handlebar Switch Harness Wire Chafing

BACKGROUND:

Due to a manufacturing issue, the wire harness that the left handlebar switch connects to may be routed incorrectly, positioning it too close to a bracket. Contact between the wire harness and the bracket may lead to wear on the insulation and may expose the wire. Contact between the exposed wire and bracket could cause a short circuit and a blown fuse leading to malfunctions with the signals, brake lights, horn, and other electronics which may increase the risk of a crash.

To resolve this issue, the affected units will have the wire harness inspected and properly routed. In the event the wires are exposed, the wire harness will be replaced.

AFFECTED UNITS:

2020-2025CBR650512 units (67 Dealer Inventory).

Make sure to perform a ‘VIN Information Inquiry’. If the unit does not appear with the campaign code L29 on the VIN Information Inquiry, it is not affected by this campaign, or the campaign has already been completed.

STOP SALE:
The affected units in dealers’ new or used inventories must have this Safety Recall service completed prior to sale. Should a dealership sell an affected unit that subsequently causes an injury or damage because of this Safety Recall issue, the dealership will be solely responsible to the damaged party and will be required to defend and indemnify Honda Canada for any resulting claims.

Subject: Safety Recall: 2025 CB1000SP – Excessive Engine Oil Consumption Causing Engine Failure (L26, L27, L28) (Update 1)

February 2nd, 2026 – Update 1: Notification letters for this Safety Recall were sent out on Friday, January 30th, 2026, to all owners of affected units.

BACKGROUND:
Due to a design issue, affected units may consume excessive engine oil. Under conditions of high engine negative pressure, such as during engine braking, oil can be drawn into the combustion chamber. In severe cases, this increased oil consumption may cause connecting rod failure, engine seizure, and sudden rear-wheel lock?up, increasing the risk of a crash.

This safety recall is launched in two Phases:

Phase 1 - Current
All affected units will be inspected for engine oil level and oil contamination. If oil is found contaminated, the engine will be replaced. If the unit passes inspection, engine oil will be refilled, and customers will be advised to check the oil level after each refueling until Phase 2 repair is completed.

A one?page customer instruction sheet is provided in the Service Bulletin MSB-II-6-25. Please print a copy and review the steps with the customer. Customers can also bring their motorcycles to the dealership for oil level inspection and refill in every 500km interval after the Phase 1 inspection. This follow up inspection is covered by campaign code L28.

Phase 2 – Expected to become available in mid-2026
The final repair method and the required countermeasure parts are still under investigation. This service bulletin will be updated once the information becomes available. Customers will also be notified by mail at that time.

AFFECTED UNITS:
2025 CB1000SP: 80 units (dealer inventory = 44 units)

February 9, 2026 – Update 2:Notification letters for this Safety Recall were sent out on Friday, February 6, 2026, to all owners of affected units.

January 14, 2026 – Update 1: The service bulletin has been updated with the inspection and rerouting procedure and claim information. The defect rate requiring the wire harness replacement is expected to be low and the posted repair methods should suffice until parts inventory improves.

Due to a manufacturing issue, the wire harness that the left handlebar switch connects to may be routed incorrectly, positioning it too close to a bracket. Contact between the wire harness and the bracket may lead to wear on the insulation and may expose the wire. Subject: Emissions Recall: 2016-2025 NCW50 – Non-Compliant Fuel Tank Cap (Expansion 2) (L25) (Update 1)

February 2nd, 2026 – Update 1: Notifications for this Emissions Recall were sent out on Friday, January 30th, 2026, to all owners of affected units.

BACKGROUND:
Due to a design specification issue, the fuel cap gasket was produced with a material that allows for excessive fuel vapour to escape into the atmosphere. For the affected units, the rate at which the fuel vapour permeates from the fuel tank is above the regulatory limits, making the motorcycles non-compliant with emissions regulations.

To resolve this issue, all affected units will have the fuel tank cap replaced with a countermeasured part. In order to maintain a matching key set, the ignition switch will also be replaced.

NOTE: This is a new expansion to the previous Emissions Recall announcements made in August 2025 and October 2025.
