As I work at a Honda (non motorcycle) dealer I ve access to all recalls so I thought I'd share.

Emissions Recall: 2021-2025 CRF300L – Non-Compliant Fuel Tank Cap (Expansion) (L23)

SAFETY RECALL: 2020-2025 Left Handlebar Switch Harness Continuity Failure (Update 2) 2020-2025 CRF1100

Safety Recall: 2025 CB1000SP – Gear Shifter Pedal Bolt May Fall Off (L24)

Yup got my notice a couple days ago for the handle bar switch, also was told the fix is back ordered

Hmm, the CRF300L gas cap recall has no details on the Honda website. Oh well. I guess I might eventually get a notice in the mail if the posties decide to start working again. Hopefully I don't get my nads burnt off in the meantime by an exploding gas tank because of CUPW...

Postal service resumed over two weeks ago.

CUPW says that the rotating strikes are only effecting rural areas, yet not one piece of mail has been delivered to anyone at my 30 unit apartment building since the 10th. Even the junk mail bin by the mail boxes is sitting empty. At work, we have about a dozen cheques that we mailed out in the days preceding October 10th that still haven't been delivered to suppliers in the GTA. We've also only had mail delivered to the office twice since the strikes started and we normally receive flyers, cheques and invoices every day.

SAFETY RECALL: 2024-2025 CBR650R Left Handlebar Switch Harness Wire Chafing

BACKGROUND:

Due to a manufacturing issue, the wire harness that the left handlebar switch connects to may be routed incorrectly, positioning it too close to a bracket. Contact between the wire harness and the bracket may lead to wear on the insulation and may expose the wire. Contact between the exposed wire and bracket could cause a short circuit and a blown fuse leading to malfunctions with the signals, brake lights, horn, and other electronics which may increase the risk of a crash.

To resolve this issue, the affected units will have the wire harness inspected and properly routed. In the event the wires are exposed, the wire harness will be replaced.

AFFECTED UNITS:

2020-2025CBR650512 units (67 Dealer Inventory).

Make sure to perform a ‘VIN Information Inquiry’. If the unit does not appear with the campaign code L29 on the VIN Information Inquiry, it is not affected by this campaign, or the campaign has already been completed.

STOP SALE:
The affected units in dealers’ new or used inventories must have this Safety Recall service completed prior to sale. Should a dealership sell an affected unit that subsequently causes an injury or damage because of this Safety Recall issue, the dealership will be solely responsible to the damaged party and will be required to defend and indemnify Honda Canada for any resulting claims.
