Has anyone bought a storage cover from this guy?

Pretty sure I payed $45 for a GEARS one at Suziki of Newmarket. Most motorcycle shops have them in the $40 range...

For forty or fifty bucks, I'd be happy to support the local dealer. Thanks.

If all you want is a dust cover, then go to a place like Fabricland and buy a length of heavy cotton sheeting in any colour of your choice(read cheap).Throw it over the bike and pull the corners tight with clothespins.I have an expensive "Covercraft" cover for the wing, but i use the cotton in the winter because it breathes better with no condensation forming inside that promotes corrosion.Cheap covers often have a vinyl layer that will trap moisture.I think i paid $20 for 12ft of cotton many years ago.

No kidding! Good advice. Some other sites I searched said not to use cotton, as it didn't breathe (weird, for a natural fibre), and that it would also trap moisture . . .

Arent We Sarcastic: which one did you get?
I got the deluxe cover when they were on sale ($29.99) a couple of years back. Sign up for their flyer as they usually go on sale towards the end of the riding year.

Ended up getting this one fromk Gears Canada. Picked it up, as they're located close to work (so didn't have to pay for shipping or long drive).

Thanks for the tip!

Got mine for $39 at Riders Choice.

Considering people make bivy sacks out of tyvek, my guess is that it would also make an awesome waterproof and breathable cover.

No... you weren't ripped off. Materials vary. Some of these covers cost upwards of $90.00 to $110.00 depending. Some have better bottoms which you can place on a hot bike and they won't melt on the pipes. A cheaper model will melt on hot pipes and you can enjoy the smell!! Not like your pleasant firewood - lol
