Dougie loves tunnels...I worked on building those tunnels…at least I’m glad it wasn’t the tunnel building as the main contributor.
For effs sake! That's where the time went.....3am bbq inside the tunnel when no one’s around …
Probably Yonge/Eglinton.Was it St Clair that I hated?
It’s been a long while and I haven’t been back.
We blame you, forever.3am bbq inside the tunnel when no one’s around …

Good times wrenching in the mines, I've been from the Yukon to NF and Labrador and every place in between. Oh and yes i worked my ass off, If you didn't you would be shown the gate pretty quickGotta keep up the morale of the miners. Those guys work their *** off…
And then we question why things cost so much. It's a concrete cube. Just start again for far less money and better function. That should have been an easy cut from the wishlist.
We've demolished more important architectural sites. Historic sites in Canada, especially Ontario, equate to new subdivisions in Europe. And then we question why things cost so much. It's a concrete cube. Just start again for far less money and better function. That should have been an easy cut from the wishlist.
Yeah exactly, what the hell are the preserving, there is no historical significance to that building. I've been to that office, it's noting like the one they have in Rochester. Unless there were a lot of chemical dumping in the ground. And then we question why things cost so much. It's a concrete cube. Just start again for far less money and better function. That should have been an easy cut from the wishlist.
Because this way they can blame it falling on its face on the extreme weather. They wont bother mentioning that it should have been designed and constructed to work in the winter nor that the failures aren't actually related to weather, it just sucks and was a boondoggle.I mean this is great an all, but with all the time they have burned on this, why not just wait until after winter finishes...
Either way we'll see.
There is a lot of political pressure on this one in my understanding, and more importantly the vast majority of the drive is underground...meaning away from winter conditions.Apparently they say it will be running next month. (yeah sure)
