I think I’m either an idiot or a sucker for Honda. Looked at a bunch of options but always coming back to tried and true.

Looking to put on some Shinkos 705 and should be good to go. Has about 23k on the clock. I prefer the sitting position MUCH better than the Rebel, and more comfortable than the F.

I figured I enjoyed the F so much this is a good step back to the platform.

Any other recommendations for tires?

Would like to check out Simcoe County Forest trails but not sure where to get started. @Iceman i heard you may be able to provide some good guidance out that way.

Looking forward to being back on 2 wheels.

Congrats, honda's are nice, practical and usable, and that 500 has good torque
Lots of wind protection by the looks of it too

Does it have that stupid backwards horn/turn signal disaster?

When I burn off the street rubber on my ride, I am thinking of trying the Shinko 804/805s. They say it performs as well as the TKC-80 (which I really like), but longer-lasting and cheaper to boot.

My buddy is a huge tire nerd and he swears by them on his Africa Twin.

Thanks all! Looking forward to getting out there. Tires just ordered from Pete's and will be installed soon as they come in.

Ended up with the Shinko 705s as I've read/heard good things about them.
