Good hatchet

Now that's a loaded question. Kind of like asking if a knife is any good.

What do you need it for? Once in a while chopping stuff up or something more serious?

If it is just a once in a while thing, it's fine. Just keep it sharp.

Good for camping needs. it's a lightweight with a composite handle.

I use mine folded up under the rear tire of the Ural when getting it up on the centerstand.

The light weight would make it more suitable for backpacking and such where more weight is a negative.
For use in a fixed base type of environment like camping you would be better equipped with something carrying more weight as chopping tools are more effective with more mass.
For camping i would recommend something from Estwing as a decent value with outstanding durability.

I’ve got the hatchet that is on sale, I find it user friendly and easy to store.

Plus with it being at that price on sale, seems like a great option for someone who is not looking to spend a huge amount to own a decent hatchet
