Friday The 13th Port Dover

Definitely not a hater. (and i don't think there are many "haters" on here) I have had a lot of good times in Dover. But they were all when there wasn't 200,000 gawkers on Main Street.
Here's my contribution. Show me your Elaina t-shirt.

EDIT:
I took my Nighthawk. Weather was cold but clear. There were a few really dodgy spots about 15 minutes out from PD that had blowing snow/ice and a crosswind. I'd start on the right edge, and blow across to the left edge of the pavement. Thankfully the sections weren't too long so I could use a patch of clear pavement to get back to the right.

I found it interesting when crowds were more modest, lots to see and do. When the weather is perfect it has all the charm and grace of the local mall on Christmas eve.

Coming home about 2pm, I saw too many riders & bikes down.

Much like I experienced at Sturgis, there are a lot of new / low experience riders that feel that it’s some sort of Mecca that they must go to, but don’t ask themselves if they have the skills to do so safely unfortunately.

I watched a guy at Sturgis drop his bike 3 times coming into and out of a gas station across from our campground. And tons of other clear demonstrations of “I just bought my first bike, trailered it here, and barely know how to ride it”.

There’s also the alcohol factor unfortunately at events like this.

I’m taking Monday off work and taking Friday as well would have been frowned upon lol

Lots of other things to worry about,

One thing I’ve learned is not to try to live someone else’s life

A buddy of mine went with is daughter. Was showing me some pic's seemed good.

He was saying 2027 might be the year to go as Friday the 13th are all in warmer months.
