Friday The 13th Port Dover

I'll go when they let me park wherever the **** I want again.
I was there once back in 2012. We rode into town and just found a spot on the street near the main drag. We wandered up and down the street looking at the bikes, grabbed a bite to eat and I bought a nice embroidered golf shirt. BTDT, no need to do it again. Same goes with Americade, we were there once, don't need to see that again either.

What is the parking situation now? When we were there they allowed bikes to enter the town, but diverted cars and trucks to another area.

I went once in January. I have never seen so many camry's and pirates in one location. Very few bikes. Not my scene, I would ride anywhere else than dover on the 13th.
Me too. I wouldn't cross the road to be part of a geriatric pirate party fawning over overdone choppers and other MoCo flotsam.

The CVMG Paris rally happens Saturday and Sunday. Way more interesting motorcycles, and motorcycle culture. Plus some good country roads to explore.

For those going, here's the map of the chaos.

I'm with @adri. I've been a bunch of times but don't need to go back until they fix the parking screw up. Looking at bikes is fine. Wearing out the shoe leather to do it sucks.

I’ve never been, but visited the town for the first time last summer. Place has a cool vibe with lots of places to sit and enjoy a good meal or fast food. Saw lots of interesting bikes too. I can’t imagine that many people jammed in there.

If it's raining I don't want to be on the bike. If it's not raining I want to be riding it.
Buying a motorcycle just to park it and walk around just doesn't compute.

Pick a cool burger/fish n chip/etc place in the middle of nowhere and take a fun route to/from it and you'll have more fun than PD13.

I like the hang out with other riders esp. dur a ride stop. What I don't like is the slow shoulder to shoulder shuffle with large crowds & long lines. It's made worse by some people who forget hot sweaty weather in gear and deodorant go hand in hand. If that makes me a "hater" so be it.
Yes I've been a few times.
