Hey Guys,

When an insurance company wants to determine your insurance claims history, they purchase an AutoPlus report from CGI. This report details any insurance claim that you have made. In case people are not aware, you're allowed to order one free copy of your own AutoPlus report once per year. Do you want to know what your insurer knows about you? Go ahead and order a free report :)

Just FYI, the AutoPlus report does NOT track your convictions history. Your convictions history is tracked by the MTO, and you can order a personal copy for $12 at the following link:

Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this up. I'll try it out and see what the results are.

Definitely should be something useful.

It is a great idea for everyone to take advantage of this and run their own autoplus report.
I have seen mistakes on these reports, and it is much easier to get these corrected at your convenience rather then scrambling when trying to change insurance companies.
Just like it is a good idea to check your credit report to make sure everything is in order.
Great link Vifer

I had HUGE mistakes on my report which made me basically uninsurable and required a lot of running around to get them fixed. You may not know about them for a while because while an insurance company may submit inaccurate info to the report, they will still go by their own records while you remain insured with them.
