I have a feeling it's going to take me a good long time to get to work tomorrow morning....

The guy who say's he's happily married and not interested is the guy who gets the date eh? lol
Nice little ride for a first one out. You are correct, it will take you longer to get to work when using the bike. My problem, before I retired, was that I could never ride straight home. I used to work at Yonge / Sheppard and more than once found myself in Collingwood or Thornbury on my way home to Orangeville.
Next time you are out head a little farther west to Creemore and then keep going west over to 124. Then turn around and head back, it is a great section of road if you want to practice some twisties. I know a few more up that way, so once you have more practice let me know and I can give you directions.
Easy guys, easy. It is not a date - just helping the fellow rider out. Does not matter to me if rider is male or female. Can't quite call it mentoring but I do enjoy being situational mentor and always happy to share whatever knowledge and experience I have.
And I am not just saying - have been happily married for 10+ years and not looking to change.
Hahaha no worries Bro! I'm just teasing both you and Jinni, cuz I know you're good people and have a great sense of humor.
PS. I'm happily married for 18 years and not interested in dating. Who's interested in learning what I have to share.![]()

Speaking of that, the very first time that I went out on the roads, I just went to a parking lot 5 km (maybe not even) away. And as I was parking, there were two guys came up and said "is it a ninja? nice bike!" (seperate events.)
Your bike is sexy so be prepared to be checked out a lot. lol!

I bought a rain suit and waterproof gloves. If it looks like it is most likely going to rain, i bring them with me in a backpack. Weighs all of 1 pound. Great investment. Not so bad getting caught in the rain on a hot summer day, but in the spring or fall it can be brutally cold.
Thomas you are too kind... Pics lie and it wouldnt matter when you have a full face helmet on lol!
Damed hell....WHY IS EVERYONE OUT ON THEIR BIKES.....I need to get one too...
Any ways..congrats on the first ride
OK. I suppose maybe the red and gold bike had something to do with it.![]()
I have to confess, after I saw the pic of your bike, I realized that I still prefer the lime green over any other colours although I don't mind my red.
Well, I would have to agree with that. I think the red/gold mix on yours is pretty stellar though. You could always do a graphic wrap... I may be, although I wouldn't mind seeing how they look in person first.
Just be careful were you get it done.. the lowest price is not always the best deal. My car is wrapped and I have a fair bit of experience with this, chat with me and I can tell you a few places to go and a few places NOT to go..
Hey Luc thanks for the tips. My friends dad does wraps so him and I are probably going to do it. Not sure I even want to yet. But if you want to PM the shops you suggest I'd appreciate it. (maybe even a ballpark $$ that it costs for a full car wrap would be nice)
I couldn't make it out tonight (painting my house, ugh) but I'll stop by the group some time!
