Family friendly vacations.

I’m in Turks and Caicos maybe tomorrow depending on weather . Did you know as a foreigner if you build a house you pay no property taxes ? And they have wild donkeys everywhere, and my wife loves donkeys . This could get expensive.

My buddy’s boss has a few condos down there.

Buddy is going in a week on company dime and just has to pay his wife’s air ticket.

I’m in the wrong business.

There is a joke to be said at your expense with regards to wild donkeys. Of course she likes them! Didn’t she marry one?!?!

Oh! I’ll see myself out!

And I was going to exchange donkey for ass……but, that would be rude. And typically don’t risk making a joke at a stranger’s expense without having a pint together. Apologies. I owe you a pint!

Unfortunately for your wallet his tastes run a bit more upscale then that.

TLDR all of this. Been to most of the places mentioned.

Mexico (Cabo) - great for adults, I would not bring my kids unless you like spending the entire time on the resort and in resort pools. The beach sand is very coarse and the ocean is far too rough to enjoy. No one was ever on the beach. I would not bring young children here, it is a party town intended for adult fun.

Mexico (Puerto Vallarta) - nice properties and beautiful beaches. Decent amenities for kids.

Mexico (Riviera Maya) - one of my favourite spots. Nice for adults and depending on properties, can be good for children. Do your research as many of the less expensive properties are not on the beach and need a shuttle unless you like hauling your kids and all your beach gear hundreds of meters.

DR (Punta Cana) - great spot for families. The service is quite good and people are very friendly. Beaches are incredible and plenty to do for kids. The Riu properties have full dedicated kids sections with pools and waterslides. Some of the properties in the area are very broken in - do your research. A very strong recommendation for the Riu Palace Bavaro, they do family fun exceptionally well and it is a paradise for adults. Food is incredible and all top shelf selections for the adults.

DR (Puerto Plata) - older resorts with some charm, decent beaches. The resorts we have been to do not have a lot to offer young children

Jamaica was great - we were in Runaway Bay a long time ago. Our kids were all teens and had a great time. Service and food were exceptional.
