Anybody see this from last night?
Just saw it on the 6pm news
horrific!
Gas tank ruptured and flames running down the street!
Rider and passenger seriously hurt.
I hope they will be ok and thoughts and best wishes go out to them.

Saw that on the news as well. Kinda wondering what happened though... Apparently "The motorcyclist struck a parked car" but the car that they struck had people in it...?
I never truly believe the media when it comes to motorcycle accidents as its always biased to make the motorcyclists look like they're always at fault.

I think they said the accident occurred at Bathurst & King or something...

Heard it on Global news @ 6 but can't find the article online.

Two people were taken to hospital after the driver of a motorcycle crashed into in the back of a car in downtown Toronto on Friday night.

The motorcycle burst into flames following the collision on King Street near Bathurst Street around 11 p.m.

Why is the license plate hanging on one of the cars in the picture. Looks more like car rear ended motorcycle, motorcycle smashed into another car, motorcycle blows up.

Also, in the other article:

Around 11 p.m., a westbound motorcycle skidded and hit a parked vehicle at King St. W. and Tecumseth St., police said.

True, but the media creates more of an impact on what society thinks. eg. Jane & Finch (used this example many times before...)

Or it could be that the car behind is like 80% of the vehicles in the GTA that are full of dings/dents/missing bumpers/non working lights/bits hanging off them. A few years ago someone in some thread told me that getting your car bashed to hell is just part of city life so I guess it's pretty common.

GWS rider and passenger. Wet roads and cold temps can really hurt traction.
